I have been living with OES over 35 years. At my childhood home was always at least one OES. My Mum and Dad were not any “show dog” people, but they loved this breed because of lovely character and unique appearance. As many OES we have had over the years everyone has had really unique personality.
As soon as it was possible after studies when I have my first permanent job and home I wanted to have naturally my very own OES. So Brandi is my first OES own myself. When I moved to live with Marko; it came possible to have other OES. During that time I was still thinking only to have nice male (almost all our OES ever has been males, just one bitch at early 70’s.). So after long search Hiski joined to our family with great help of Christina Westig, Anette Neuen and my other friends at Germany, who I am ever thankful about all help during all these years. When Hiski was grown to really nice young male; I first time started to think breeding. But for that I would need a bitch and I didn’t had at that moment possibility to take one at my home. Same time my sister lost her old own OES male Remu. She was planning to take other Irish Wolfhound or OES male later, but then to Kö-Pi’s 599 kennel was born litter having parents I liked really much and furthermore they hade pedigree just matching to ideas about my breeding plans. So I asked could Anki think to take female puppy to live with her. She said yes, so at beginning of 2007 little Venla moved to live with Anki and IW Veeti. Again Christina W, Bärbel and Dieter Korn were more precious to me than gold. More about Brandi, Hiski and Venla you can read from their own pages.
My kennel name Memoriter is Latin and means “by heart”. So it comes from Brandi’s name. I hope every Memoriter puppy ever will be something to remember to their owners as all our OES have been during these years for us.
